Kilkenny gardai out in force on our roads, drug driver arrested at checkpoint
Local gardai arrested a drug driver after he failed a road side test.
Gardai have been out in force on Kilkenny and Carlow roads in recent days manning anti-crime checkpoints and policing the Covid-restrictions.
This driver of the above car was arrested in Carlow at a checkpoint over the weekend after failing a drugs test when they were stopped by gardai.
A local Garda spokesperson again urged motorists to “never drive while under the influence of an intoxicant”.
