LATEST: 3,685 new cases of virus but hospital numbers drop
A further 3,685 more people have tested positive for Covid-19, the Department of Health confirmed this evening.
On Twitter, the department said 444 Covid-19 patients are now in hospital, of whom 74 are in intensive care units.
There are 19 fewer people in hospital than at the same time yesterday, while the number in ICU is down two.
