Vandals smash windows of car parked outside owner’s house in quiet part of Kilkenny city

Vandals smashed the windows of a car parked outside the owner’s home in a quiet area of Kilkenny city.

The car, a grey Peugeot, was parked up on a driveway in Aylesbury on the Freshford Road over the weekend when the incident occurred sometime between 9pm last Friday and 11am the following morning.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the rear windscreen was smashed, but it doesn’t appear anything was taken from the car or that entry was gained.

Gardai are looking for a motive for the attack.
