36 Calves stolen from county Kilkenny farm
A herd of calves worth thousands of euros has been stolen from a field in county Kilkenny.
The theft occurred at a farm in Luskinagh, Bonnetstown near Kilkenny city sometime between Thursday, July 29 and Friday, August 6.
A local Garda source confirmed 36 calves were stolen during the operation.
The thieves would have had to have had heavy machinery and transport to move the animals.
Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the time or who have any information regarding the thefts is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
