Oddball burglars thrash Kilkenny premises then flee empty handed

BURGLARS forced their way into a county Kilkenny business, trashed the place and then fled without taking anything.

The vandals forced their way into the premises on the Dublin Road, Johnstown, last Saturday night between 4.20am and 4.40am.

Once inside the premises in the town centre the burglars completely ransacked the building.

But they didn’t stay long and fled the scene without taking anything from the premises.

Gardai have urged potential eyewitnesses or anyone who may noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact Urlingford Garda Station on 056 883 1133.
