Gardai launch investigation as man’s body discovered in Kilkenny city apartment
Gardai have launched an investigation after the body of a man was discovered in Kilkenny City last night.
The State Pathologist’s office has been notified and gardai are describing the discovery as “suspicious”.
It is believed the deceased man was aged in his 40s.
A team from the garda technical bureau is expected to arrive this morning to the apartment in the Hawthorn Drive area which is near Waterford Road.
