Cheers! How Kilkenny distillery is helping to combat spread of Covid-19
A Kilkenny distillery has redirected its resources to join the fight to halt the spread of the coronavirus.
Highbank Orchards is now producing hand sanitisers after they came in short supply since the Covid-19 outbreak here.
The company said on social media: “Last week we never would have thought we would be making this and now here we are. Hand Sanitiser by Highbank Orchards!”
Highbank Orchards’ new product is made to World Health Organisation standard.
Made with World Health Organisation standard and is available in 500ml, 1 litre and 2.5 litre with re-fill options.
Owner Julie Calder Potts said she hoped other distilleries across the country would follow thr Kilkenny distillery’s example.
“They’ve rushed through licences for people so they can produce some,” she told KCLR.
