COVID-19 UPDATE: 204 further cases as number of deaths rises to seven
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland has risen to 1,329 while a seventh death has been recorded.
A further 204 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours while the number of people to die from Covid-19 in Northern Ireland has risen to five, after two more deaths were announced.
The number of new cases rose by 24 today, bringing the total to 172.
The man who died in the Republic was in in the East of the country and had an underlying health condition.
