Lights out: Bizarre theft leaves set of traffic lights in Kilkenny city in the dark
Gardai are investigating the bizarre theft of a battery from a set of traffic lights in Kilkenny city.
A local Garda source confirmed the battery was removed from the traffic lights at Whitesbridge last Thursday evening at around 6.20pm.
Anyone who witnessed the theft or has anyu information about the incident is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
