Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Care Choice, Montenotte, Cork. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Madge and Eileen, sons Denis, Mike, Dave and John, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Teresa Gowen (nee Hogan) (James Green, Kilkenny) August 27th 2020 (after a short illness) at her home in her 101st year. Beloved mother of Marie, John and Elaine. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, son-in-law Hugh, daughter-in-law Gert, grandchildren Peter, Frank, Aoife and Michael, great grandchildren Liam, Aisling, Jimmy, Aidan, Eimear and Caoimhe, extended family and friends.
Due to government guidelines regarding public gatherings a private Requiem Mass for Teresa’s family and close friends will take place on Saturday (August 29th) in St. Mary’s Cathedral at 1p.m. (maximum 50 people in the Cathedral) followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Please feel free to leave a message of condolence in the condolence book here.

Houlihan (nee Dorey)(Marian Place, Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Donnycarney, Dublin 5) 27th August 2020, peacefully, at University Hospital, Waterford, Rita, beloved wife of Eddie and much loved mother of Rebecca and Ciarán, sadly missed by her loving family, sister Betty, brothers Noel and Damien, son-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Angela, grandchildren Heather, Matthew and James, extended family, neighbours and friends.
In keeping with current government/HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, Requiem Mass for Rita will be celebrated on Saturday (29th Aug.) at 11am in St. Bennett’s Church, Bennettsbridge for family and close friends. (max of 50 people in Church). Funeral afterwards to Dardistown Cemetery, Dublin, arriving for interment at 1.45 pm approx. House private please.

Peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his wife Nora. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family, son Willie, daughters Rose, Bridie, Noreen, Catherine and Mary, brother Jim, sister Peig, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Majella, sons-in-law Patrick, Michael, Eamon, Christy, and Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Saturday (29th August) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer for Requiem Mass at 12 noon: live-streamed on the Parish webcam http://www.castlecomerparish.ie/. (Family and close friends only maximum 50 people allowed in the church). Bill will be laid to rest following Mass in the Crosshill Cemetery, Castlecomer. Route and funeral arrangements : The funeral cortège will travel from Seán’s home to St. Ignatius (Jesuit) Church, Sea Road on Saturday, 29th August leaving at 10.15 a.m. via Maunsell’s Road, Taylor’s Hill, Fr. Griffin Avenue, Fr. Griffin Road, Flood Street and ‘An Taibhdhearc’ to arrive for Requiem Mass at the Church at 11 a.m. Funeral thereafter to Rahoon cemetery. The Funeral Mass and interment at the cemetery will take place privately as a result of social distancing guideliines.
