Thieves steal van loaded with valuable goods under cover of darkness in county Kilkenny town

Gardai are investigating the theft of a van containing valuables that was stolen from a north Kilkenny town.

The redFord van was taken from Assumption Place in Urlingford sometime between 10.30pm last Tuesday week and 8.30am the following morning.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the Dublin-registered van also contained a cast iron table and chairs and a red Honda power washer.

Gardai are investigating the theft. They have urged anyone with information or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact their local Garda station.
