Burrito and amber: Taste of Mexico comes to Kilkenny

A new restaurant offering a spicy taste of the Latin-America has been delighting Kilkenny palaettes since its opened in recent days.

Despite opening in the midst of the lockdown, Saburritos on James Street has been winning some rave reviews for its selection of Mexican dishes.

The new restaurant aims to deliver fresh authentic Mexican food made from scratch everyday in store, which they say is “healthy and delicious”.

With the public health emergency, the restuarant is currently just operating as a takeaway. And judging by initial reviews on social media, Saburritos is already proving to be a hit with Kilkenny foodies.

“All we need now is to get in the door – glad to hear its going great down there,” one customer posted.
