Clean slate for Kilkenny food businesses
There were no enforcement orders issued on any food serving premises throughout Kilkenny city or county last year.
Kilkenny was one of just seven counties where no orders were issued last year, according to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) 2020 Enforcement Orders report.
The FSAI issued a total of 42 enforcement orders nationally over the course of 2020, ranging from closure orders,to improvement orders, prohibition and prosecution orders.
Kilkenny, along with Tipperary, Wicklow, Offaly, Longford, Galway and Leitrim were the only counties where the FSAI found no grounds to issue orders in 2020.
