Kilkenny school to build temporary classrooms to cater for students
A school in county Kilkenny is seeking to build new temporary classrooms to cater for its students.
The Board of Management Colaiste Eamann Ris on the Kilkenny Road in Callan has made the application to Kilkenny County Council seeking planning for the temporary structure.
The school wants to erect a detached single-storey temporary demountable building which will contain two extra classrooms.
Coláiste Éamann Rís is a Christian Brothers secondary school for boys that caters for around 200 students at present.
A decision from on the plans is expected by the start of April.
