Diesel stolen from trucks at county Kilkenny premises for second time in week
Diesel has been stolen from lorries parked up in a yard in county Kilkenny for the second time in a little over a week.
The latest theft occurred at a commerical premises in Glenmore sometime between 7pm on Tuesday and 5.30am Wednesday.
The thieves siphoned off diesel from three lorries parked in the yard and got away with around €1,000 worth of fuel.
Exactly one week beforehand a gang broke into a yard in the Glenmore area and stole €5,000 worth of diesel from seven lorries parked in the yard.
Gardai believe the culprits used some form of tanker to transport the fuel from the yards.
