Notorious road accident blackspot in county Kilkenny closed after vehicle overturns
A main road in county Kilkenny has been temporarily closed off this morning after a vehicle overturned.
The accident occurred on the N24 Waterford to Limerick road outside Mooncoin. The vehicle overturned at a bend on the road where several accidents have taken place already this year.
Emergency services and gardai are at the scene and traffic diversions have been put in place.
The road is currently closed to traffic on the Piltown side.
