Pushing their luck: Thieves who burgled Kilkenny garden make an unusual getaway

Thieves made an unusual getaway after stealing gardening equipment from a house in Kilkenny city.

The theft occurred at a house in Shanragh on the Dublin Road sometime between 8pm last Friday midday on Saturday.

A local Garda source confirmed the thieves entered the garden of the house and stole a a wheelbarrow that was left on the driveway. Nothing else was taken.

Eyewitnesses or anyone who may have notices a person pushing a wheelbarrow in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 057 777 5000.
