REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Breda TOBIN 
The Sycamores, Kilkenny and formerly Garnagale, Urlingford

Breda died peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny surrounded by her family and her amazing carers at The Sycamores. Predeceased by her mother Nellie and brother Con. Deeply regretted by her loving father Paddy, brothers Pat and John, sister-in-law Kay, nieces Kathrina and Patricia, nephews Diarmuid and Thomas, relatives, neighbours and her friends at the Sycamores Kilkenny.

Reposing at her brother Pat’s residence Garnagale, Urlingford on Thursday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal takes place on Friday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Graine arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock (max 50 people) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

As per Covid 19 directives please comply with government guidelines regarding public gatherings , social distancing and face covering. Messages of condolence can be placed on the page provided here.

Thomas (Tommy) FOX
35 Barrowmount Drive, Goresbridge

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Fox Jnr. who passed away, peacefully, at St Vincent’s University Hospital today, 3th August. Tommy will be sadly missed by his beloved mother Kathleen and loving family and friends.

Martin HANLON 
Ballasalla, Johnswell

The death has taken place of Martin Hanlon, The Bungalow, Ballasalla, Johnswell, Kilkenny, (peacefully) at St. Luke’s Hospital. Deeply regretted by his father Jim, mother Patricia, brother James, sisters Mairead and Laura, partner Catherine and son Nathan, stepsons Christopher and Justin. Brothers-in-law James Hickey and Sean Delaney, sister-in-law Marie Hanlon, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins. Goddaughters Nicole, Aoife and Sandra. Relatives, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with Government/HSE guidlines regarding public gatherings (max 50) people in the church. A private Funeral Mass for family and friends will be celebrated for Martin on Friday at 12 (noon) in the Church of St. John the Baptist Johnswell, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
