REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Fenton (nee Broderick) (College Gardens, Callan Road, Kilkenny) 30th December 2021, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Mary, beloved wife of John and much loved mother of John Jnr, Deirdre, Conor and the late Rory, sadly missed by her husband and family, sister Helen, brothers Jimmy, John, Rory and Dick, daughter-in-law Anne, son-in-law Jonathan, grandchildren Aron, Conor and Ruan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home on Saturday (1st Jan) from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated on Sunday (2nd Jan) at 12.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Kilkenny with Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery.

Peacefully, on Thursday 30th December 2021, in the loving care of Anne and all the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home, Kilkenny.

Pre-deceased by her husband Henry. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Jimmy, Tommy and Henry, daughters Sheila (Roe), Ann (O’Brien), Mary (Fitzgerald), Breida (Doheny), Carmel (Weaver), Kayren Giles, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Friday, 31st December from 4.00pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.00pm. Funeral prayers on Saturday morning at 10.00am followed by removal to The Church of the Holy Cross, Cuffesgrange, (Eircode R95 ED61) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

With the support and agreement of Bridget’s Family, please adhere to government guidelines regarding the wearing of face masks, hand shaking and social distancing in both The Funeral Home and The Church. Thank you for your consideration and co-operation.

Joyce (Ossory Park, Kilkenny and formerly of Milltown, Borris) 30th December 2021, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the ICU in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, John, beloved husband of Mary Ann and much loved Dad of Dwayne, sadly missed by his wife and son, brother Michael, sister Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home on Sunday (2nd Jan) from 5pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass for John will be celebrated on Monday at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny with Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his sister Lila and brother in law Larry. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen (nee Ryan) and loving father to Bill, Elizabeth, Loraine and Richard. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sister Nancy, sons in law Ger and Canice, daughters in law Fiona and Elaine, brothers in law Timmie and John, sisters in law Nellie and Mary Geraldine, grandchildren, Odhran, Orla, Nicky, Dearbhla, Aoibheann, Donnacha and Aoife, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from his residence on Sunday morning at 11.30am to St Brigid’s Church, Lisdowney for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John (Johnny) O’Donnell, O’Donnell’s Pub, The Square, Inistioge, Co. Kilkenny.Predeceased by his loving father Eddie, mother Margaret (Peg) and brother James (Jimmy). Loving brother of Danny, Helen, Maria and Catherine, Johnny will be greatly and sadly missed by his brother, sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many great friends.
