One person dies as 12 patients remain in ICU
One person lost their lives from Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland in the last 24 hours, the HSE said this evening.
The total death toll here is now 1,736 while the number of confirmed cases has now reached 25,473 after another 11 were diagnosed.
Meanwhile, a total of 12 patients remain in intensive care while there there are 22 patients overall in the hospital system, latest figures show.
In Northern Ireland, no patients are in ICU for the fourth straight day and there no deaths in the last 24 hours.
The official death toll there remains at 551.
