BREAKING: Santa spotted in skies above Kilkenny!

With just one more sleep before Christmas morning, avaiation authorities have given Santa and his reindeer the green light to enter Irish airspace.

And the great man had a special message for Kilkenny children ahead of his big journey tonight.

Speaking to KilkennyNow.ie from his home in the North Pole, Santa paid tribute to his army of elves who have “worked frantically” to get all the toys ready for delivery this year.

And he had the following advice for those hoping for presents this year: “All you have to do is stay on the good list and listen to mammies and daddies. Stay nice, not naughty, and I’ll bring whatever I can on Christmas Day!”

Several sources reported sighting of a sleigh in the skies above Kilkenny tonight, but it is understood Santa is waiting until all the last children are asleep before delivering his very special cargo to the boys and girls below.
