Thieves break into car in driveway of Kilkenny home as owners sleep

CASH and a handbag were taken from a car while it was parked in a the driveway of a home in Kilkenny city.

The car was parked on Bleech Road, Kilkenny. When the owners woke up they discovered the car had been broken into and the contents stolen.

The incident occurred overnight last week.

Gardai have urged people not to leave personal belongings visible in their cars.
