Cat laughs! RTÉ on prowl for Kilkenny comic talent

DO you know someone from Kilkenny that can make you smile like a Cheshire cat or know someone who thinks they can make a cat laugh?

If so, RTÉ presenter Ray D’Arcy is looking for them to appear on his show.

D’Arcy’s Saturday night TV and daily radio shows have launched a new comedy talent competition called ‘Stand Up and Be Funny’ and are looking for amateur comedians from Kilkenny to apply.

If you think people will be lapping up your punchlines, then make a three-minute video of your material and you could be in with a chance to appear on Ray’s shows on RTÉ Radio 1 and RTÉ One. The winner gets the opportunity to develop a comedy pilot with RTÉ Online for RTÉ Player.
