City gets into festive mood with switching on of Christmas Lights this Saturday
KILKENNY city-centre will be transformed into a festive fun-derland this Saturday with the switching-on of the Christmas Lights.
Kilkenny County Council today confirmed the event will take place on the Parade at 4.30pm.
The theme of the event for 2018 will be to ‘shop Kilkenny’ – a drive to encourage people to buy local and support the city’s retailers this Christmas.
