Council approves plans for serviced sites in sought after area of Kilkenny city
Kilkenny County Council have approved plans to develop nine fully serviced sites in a much sought after area.
Developers John and Allen Flynn had their application to create the serviced sites at a one-hectare plot of land at Newpark Lower on the Castlecomer Road, next to the Newpark Hotel approved.
The developers will now provide “all site infrastructure for the provision of nine (number) individual residential sites” on the land.
A new access road with an entrance off the Castlecomer Road would also be developed under the plans.
The permission also allows for the demolition of some existing outhouses to make way for the new sites.
