Burglars break into county Kilkenny house while shocked owners were away

The owners of a house in county Kilkenny returned home to discover the property had been broken into.

The break-in occurred at the house in Ballinagot, Inistioge, sometime between Monday, February 1 and Sunday, February 21.

Local gardai confirmed the burglars broke the lock on the front door of the house to gain entry.

They then proceeded to ransack the house, but it appears nothing was stolen from the property.
