Elderly Kilkenny cyclist involved in collision with parked lorry dies
An elderly Kilkenny man who was rushed to hospital last week after the bike he was cycling collided with a lorry passed away from his injuries this afternoon.
The incident happened close to the village of Paulstown between 12.30pm and 1pm last Tuesday, October 29.
The man sustained serious injuries when the bike he was cycling collided with the cab of the truck that was stationary at the time.
He was rushed to St Luke’s General Hospital where staff dealt with his injuries.
Tragically, he succumbed to those injuries this evening.
