Thieves in white Hiace van targetting Kilkenny properties
THIEVES broke into a county Kilkenny farmyard late at night and made off with 10 drums of diesel.
The theft occurred at a farm in Kilmoganny at around 11.30pm on Saturday night.
The farmer saw a white Hiace van in the yard and contacted gardai.
He later realised the thieves had stolen 10 drums of diesel from the property.
Kilkenny gardai are investigating the incident.
They have urged eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Kilmoganny Garda Station on 051 648 002.
