Gardai investigate bizarre incident involving new car parked in Kilkenny city
A thief stole the arial from a car that was parked in an estate in Kilkenny city and then drilled a hole in the rear light of the vehicle.
The incident occurred in the Springfields estate on the Waterford Road at around 5.20pm, just after it became dark, last Monday, November 23.
A local Garda source descibred the incidednt as “a strange one”. They said the thief may have been attempting to steal the back light of the vehicle, a new Hyundai model, before being disturbed.
