Get in! Irish Open return to Mount Juliet in 2021
Mount Juliet has been confirmed as the host of next year’s Irish Open.
The five-star hotel, estate and golf course in Thomastown was set to host the event this year, but the tournament was firstly postponed, and then moved, due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
The tournament was due to be held in county Kilkenny in May, but eventually took place in Galgorm Castle in county Antrim.
This week it was confirmed the event will return to Mount Juliet in 2021 after the European Tour unveiled their schedule for the coming season.
The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open has been pencilled in for the first weekend in July, Thursday 1 to Sunday, July 4.
It will be first time the Thomastown course has held the event since 1995, which was the second of two Irish Opens held back-to-back on the Mount Juliet course.
