Heartless thieves steal swings from popular Kilkenny playground
A bunch of heartless thieves have ripped the heart out of a county Kilkenny village by stealing the children’s swings from the community playground.
Four swings were taken from the public playground at Whitehall in Paulstown between 5pm on Tuesday, June 2 and 2pm on Thursday June 4.
The playground is currently closed as part of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
A local Garda source confirmed the thieves made off with three full-size swings for older children and one smaller swing, which was used by younger kids.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who may have seen people apparently working in the playground last week are urged to contact Goresbridge Garda Station on 056 444 1222.
