Kilkenny engineers showcase their skills and projects for national awards

ENGINEERING companies in Kilkenny are being encouraged to showcase their projects and achievements of the last year and put themselves forward for excellence awards.

This November, Engineers Ireland will host their tenth annual Excellence Awards, which awards engineering leaders and teams who have demonstrated exceptional engineering vision and skills through their work.

The awards provide an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the contribution the engineering profession makes to society and acknowledges the innovation and quality of work produced by engineers both at home and abroad.

The categories are wide and ranging and include Engineering Project of the Year, Sustainability Award, Geoscience Award, Heritage and Conservation Award, International Engineer of the Year Award, and Engineering Education Award.
