Kilkenny woman’s car broken into and handbag stolen at popular walking trail

A woman who went for a stroll in one of Kilkenny’s most scenic trails was horrified to find her car had been broken into and handbag stolen which she was walking.

The lady had parked up at the carpark close to the entrance at Castlemorris Woods near Hugginstown at around 4.20pm last Sunday.

The walk only took 30 minutes but when she returned to her car she saw her back windscreen had been smashed in and he handbag taken.
