LATEST: More than 1,200 new cases of virus confirmed
A further 1,207 people have contracted the coronavirus, the Department of Health confirmed this evening.
That’s an increase of 221 on yesterday’s figures.
And the number of patients being treated in hospital for the virus now stands at 355, an increase of 12 on yesterday.
Of these, 69 are being treated in ICU, one down on yesterday’s numbers.
