LATEST: No new cases of virus in Kilkenny, 384 further infections recorded across country

There has been no further coronavirus -related deaths but 384 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.

The overall death toll as a result of the virus remains at 4,534. There has now been 226,741 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).

The breakdown of the latest cases is as follows: 145 are in Dublin, 41 in Kildare, 37 in Offaly, 29 in Galway, 24 in Cork with the remaining 108 cases are spread across 17 other counties. No new cases of the virus were recorded in Kilkenny over the past 24 hours.
