Man suffers facial injuries and has smartphone taken during attack in Kilkenny village
A male was attacked from behind in a shocking unprovoked assault in a county Kilkenny village before the attacker made off with his smartphone.
The assault occurred at Belline Close, Piltown, on Tuesday evening.
Gardai confirmed the victim was attacked from behind, “sustaining injuries to his face”.
The suspected has black hair and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
Gardai have urged anyone who witnessed the attack or who may have any information about the incident to contact Mooncoin Garda Station on 051 895 122.
