Vandals destroy graves in county Kilkenny cemetery

VNADALS have been laying siege to a county Kilkenny graveyard, breaking tombstones and destroying graves.
Gardai are hunting a person or group who have been vandalising graves at St Mary’s Graveyard in Callan.
So far seven graves have been targeted and the headstones damaged.
The first grave was targeted on Saturday, June 22. The latest act of vandalism at the cemetery occurred on Monday evening.
Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating the incidents. They have urged anyone with information about the attacks to contact Callan Garda Station on 056 770 6630.
