Motorists caught driving at ‘dangerous’ speeds of up to 167km/h on Kilkenny roads
Motorists were clocked driving at “dangerously excessive speeds” on Kilkenny roads despite a large Garda presence to mark National Slowdown Day.
One driver was caught doing 167km/h on the M9 yesterday. Another motorist was clocked doing 155km/r on the same stretch of motorway.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai conducting speed checks as part of National Slowdown Day have detected motorists travelling at dangerously excessive speeds on the M9 this morning in Co Kilkenny. Slowdown and keep our roads safe.”
