200 people set to move into new social houses in Kilkenny city

MORE than 200 people will have a new home in Kilkenny city soon.
Fifty-four Respond homes have been built on the old pitch and putt course at Ballybough Street.
The houses are now complete, with just the roadworks and landscaping unfinished.
The 54-unit development will consist of 15 two-bed apartments, 33 three-bed houses and six four-bed homes.
A spokesperson for Kilkenny Countyouncil confirmed to KilkennyNow.ie: “The development is more or less complete.
“The landscaping and roadways are going in at the moment.
“The nominations offered will be going out from Respond to potential tenants very shortly.”
