Kinchella (62 Assumption Place, Kilkenny) 16th January 2021, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, Michael (Mick), (late of Castle Engineers and Smithwicks Brewery), beloved husband of Eileen and much loved father of Michael and Keith, sadly missed by his loving wife and sons, sister Maura (Nolan), brother John, daughters-in-law Amanda and Eithne, his grandchildren Ben, Holly, Lily, Eve, Sadie and Amy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a private family funeral will take place for Michael with Requiem Mass celebrated on Tuesday (19th January) at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny (max of 10 in church). Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

Mary Holden, (nee Fitzgerald), Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Saturday 16th January 2021. Pre-deceased by her husband Hauly. Deeply regretted by her loving family, son Pat, grandson David, daughter-in-law Pauline, sister-in-law Kitty, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Due to the current Level 5, HSE and Government restrictions regarding public gatherings, Mary’s Funeral will take place privately (for 10 family members only). The Requiem Mass can be viewed live on https://churchmedia.ie/ (Callan Parish) at 11am on Tuesday 19th January. Burial will take place afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.

O’Neill (nee Maher) (Kilmacahill, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny and late of Newlands, Danesfort) 16th January 2021, peacefully, at Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny, Miriam, beloved wife of Tony and much loved mother of Stephen and Kieran, sadly missed by her loving husband and sons, brother Richard and his wife Dympna, mother-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a private family funeral will take place for Miriam, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Monday, 18th January, at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Paulstown (max of 10 in church). Funeral afterwards to the Holy Family Cemetery, Paulstown.
The Requiem Mass will be broadcast live locally on 106.6fm
There will be an opportunity for the community to remember Miriam and support her family by being present, socially distanced, on Monday afternoon en route from the Church to the cemetery. Those wishing to leave a message of condolence for Miriam’s family can do so here.

John Skehan, Ballinacurragh, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Saturday, 16th January 2021, peacefully, at Mooncoin Residential Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family, Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Nonie, brother Seamus. John will be sadly missed by his brothers Mossie, Paddy and Noel, sisters Catherine (Mc Donald) and Mai, sister-in-law Catherine, brother-in-law Ned, Margaret and Greg, Niece Emma, Nephews Ben, Adam, Jamie and Paul, his wife Maria, extended family, neighbours and friends.
John’s removal will take place on Monday, 18th January, from Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, passing his home, via Smartscastle, Ballinacurragh, Miltown Cross, Lower Kilmacow, Narabane, Ullid, Ash Grove, Royal Oak, arriving to St. Kevin’s Church, Carrigeen, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
FAMILY HAVE REQUESTED CHURCH AND GRAVE YARD WILL BE PRIVATE TO FAMILY ONLY, PLEASE.
