‘Suspicious looking van’ linked to break-in at county Kilkenny house
Burglars broke into a house in county Kilkenny and ransacked a room before fleeing the property empty handed.
The attempted burglary took place in the Woodsgift area shortly before 8pm on Saturday.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the burglars gain entry to by forcing the rear door of the house open.
However, nothing was taken and gardai are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have noticed “a suspicious looking van or jeep” to contact Urlingford Garda Station.
