After three long days of counting, Carlow-Kilkenny has finally returned five TDs to Dáil Éireann. One of the longest counts in the country culminated in a stunning one-two-three triumph for Fianna Fáil with its candidates – sitting TDs John McGuinness (pictured) and Jennifer Murnane O’Connor and newcomer Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere – topping the poll
