A KILKENNY road that was closed for six weeks after it collapsed has reopened to traffic after it was declared safe. The N78 at Gurteen Hill near Castlecomer was shut off to traffic after old mining works underneath the road collapsed. However the road reopened on Friday after it was declared safe.
