That’s the jab – location of Kilkenny’s mass vaccination centre revealed

The location of Kilkenny’s mass vaccination centre has been revealed.

The Cillin Hill Conference Centre on the Dublin Road in Leggettsrath has been chosen as the county’s centre for administering the jab.

The list of locations was announced by Health Minister Stephen Donnelly this afternoon. In all, there are 37 centres around the country with at least one in every county.

Making the announcement on the centre’s locations, Minister Donnelly said: “These centres will be ready well in advance of vaccine supply when they will be used as part of our programme.

“We have always said the vaccination programme would only be limited by the availability and reliability of supply in these early stages of the programme.

“In the coming months supply will increase substantially and we will see these centres operating to full capacity and administering vaccines to the general population,” the minister concluded.
