Thief stole Sat Nav and radio from car left unlocked outside train station
A CAR owner who parked their vehicle outside Thomastown Train Station overnight returned the following day to discover it had been broken into and a number of electrical items stolen.
The incident occurred sometime between 4pm on Monday, May 13 and 4pm the next day.
The stolen items included a Sat Nav system and a JVC car radio. It subsequently emerged the car had not been locked.
A Garda spokesperson said: “We are urging people to ensure their cars are locked and secured if they are being left unattended for any period time and to ensure no property is left on vehicles.”
