Yankee doodle handy: Lucky Kilkenny punter scoops €12,000 windfall
One lucky punter in Kilkenny has just scooped more than €12,000 when three of four horses selected in a outsider Yankee bolted in.
The anonymous winner placed a €3 yankee on four horses at four different tracks on Tuesday. A spokesperson for BoyleSports confirmed the total €33 layout netted the punter a tidy €12,239.40.
Emmas Dilemma was the first to win coming home first at the 3.10 at Huntington at 20/1. Their second horse, Amlad was beaten at Clonmel, but they then had wins for 12/1 shots Iwasthefutureonce and Poet’s Reflection at Wetherby and Taunton.
