Two arrested for drink driving within 15 minutes at ‘super’ Garda checkpoint in county Kilkenny
TWO drivers were caught over the legal alcohol limit at the same checkpoint in county Kilkenny within the space of 15 minutes over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Gardai were out in force policing our roads over the long weekend.
They arrested two drivers who were breathalysed and found to be over the limit during a “super” checkpoint at Granagh yesterday.
A local Garda spokesperson urged motorists to “drive slowly” and to “never drive while intoxicated”.
