Vehicle vandalised in Kilkenny car park, tyre slashed and door damaged
GARDAI are hunting for a vandal who caused extensive damage to a car parked in Kilkenny city.
The vehicle was in a carpark on Abbey Bridge when it was vandalised, sometime between noon on Saturday and 9am on the following morning.
A local Garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow.ie: “The owner of the car, a 172 KK Volkswagon Touran, returned to his car on Sunday morning to find a flat tyre and scrape marks along the passenger door.”
Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating the incident. They have urged anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact them on 056 555 7000.
