Warm tributes to ‘amazing young lady’ found dead after walking dog in county Kilkenny
Emotional tributes have been made to the young woman who was found dead after she went out walking with her dog over the weekend.
Alice O’Keefe (21) was discovered in the Kilculliheen area of Ferrybank on the Kilkenny-Waterford border on Saturday morning.
The young woman will be cremated at a provate ceremony today following requiem mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Ferrybank.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances of Ms O’Keefe’s death, but foul play is not suspected. Gardai said the outcome of a post-mortem carried out earlier this week will determine the course of their investigations.
Several people paid tribute to the young woman on RIP.ie in recent days.
One said: “So very sad and sorry for your loss she was amazing young lady. May she rest in peace.”
Another added: “Alice was such a sweet person with not a bit of badness and always trying to put a smile in her friends. Such a genuine girl and beautiful person.”
