WEEKEND WEATHER: Ray of hope – Kilkenny set to sizzle in the sun again next week
Kilkenny can look forward to another week of sizzling weather with highs of 19C and more sunny and dry conditions.
While some rain is predicted for this weekend, forecasters say the bright sunny Spring weather and warm temperatures we’ve enjoyed in recent days will continue into next week.
Temperatures will remain around the same today, although some parts of the county may endure some rain in the afternoon.
Met Éireann said: “Friday morning will be dry with the best of any sunny spells over the northern half of the country.
“Rain will develop in the south around noon and spread over the southern half of the country through the afternoon and evening.
“Highest temperatures of 13C to 18C with moderate easterly breezes.”
Some clouds and showers will appear again tomorrow, with temperatures cooling to 15C.
However, the weather will thankfully pick up again on Sunday and into next week.
Met Éireann added: “Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will be mainly dry with sunny spells and perhaps one or two isolated showers in the south.
“Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 or 17C with moderate easterly winds.”
